Deliberate Dialogue(R)

What is Deliberate Dialogue?

Deliberate Dialogue means using intentional and conscious communication skills and processes to promote productive conversations.

Deliberate Dialogue® combines the meanings of “deliberate” as a verb and an adjective. As a verb, “deliberate” involves thoughtful discussion and careful consideration of different perspectives, like how a jury deliberates before making a decision.

As an adjective, “deliberate” means intentional and purposeful. Together, deliberate dialogue means intentionally facilitating conversations that create openness and draw on collective wisdom to create the best solutions, decisions, ideas, or understanding.

(Deliberate Dialogue® is a registered trademark of DELIBERATE CHANGES LLC that pertains to a system of learning and applying deliberate dialogue as defined above).
